Aulia Muflihati
Aulia carried out a research project in the Greenaway Group as part of her Nanomaterials MRes in 2024. The project focused on the exploration of crystallisation pathways and polymorphism of porous organic cages, and was co-supervised by Kim Jelfs.
Suqin Chen
Suqin completed her Nanomaterials MRes in 2024, "Porous Liquids as Porous Electrolytes", in the Greenaway group, co-supervised by Magda Titirici.
Mani Rabbani
Mani completed his Advanced Molecular Synthesis MRes in 2024 with the Greenaway Group, co-supervised by Kim Jelfs. His project focused on the high throughput synthesis of porous organic cages.
Yungtong Guo
Yungtong completed his MSci project in 2024, titled “Designing Liquid Crystalline Organic Cages”, in the Greenaway Group, as part of a 4 year integrated MSci at Imperial.
Steven Bennett
Steven completed his PhD under the supervision of Kim Jelfs and Becky Greenaway in 2023, which focused on the computational prediction of experimentally viable molecular organic materials.
Alannah Traynor
Alannah completed her research project with the group as part of her MRes degree in Catalysis, in collaboration with Mark Chadwick in 2023, which focused on investigating a mild and novel route towards palladium catalysed semi-hydrogenation of alkynes.
Jasmine Allen
Jasmine carried out her research project as part of the MSc Digital Chemistry programme in 2022. Her project focused on "Automated Precipitate Detection & Solubility Determination using Image Recognition".
Vithusiga Maheswaran
Vithusiga completed her research project with the group and David Miller in the Imperial College Advanced Hackspace as part of the MSc Digital Chemistry programme in 2023. Her project focused on the expansion of the Opentrons robotic system for synthetic chemistry automation.
Cristiana Darie
Cristiana joined the Greenaway group for a summer UROP project in 2023, between her 3rd and 4th year of MSci Chemistry at Imperial. This work is focused on the design and synthesis of liquid crystalline porous organic cages.
AARON BERNARDINO
Aaron carried out his Erasmus placement with the group (Oct 2022-May 2023) as part of his final year MSci in Chemistry at the University of Pavia (Italy), and carried out research on the high-throughput synthesis of cages and macrocycles for use as fillers in mixed-matrix membranes for gas separations in collaboration with Prof. Valeria Amendola.
MUYE XIAO
Muye completed his MSci project with the group as part of his Chemistry degree at Imperial College London in 2023, which focused on automating the turbidity and solubility measurements of organic cages and fluorescent porous liquids.
YUYANG HAN
Yuyang completed her MSci project with the group as part of her Chemistry degree at Imperial College London in 2023, which focused on hybrid porous liquids.
ABBIE SCHOLES
Abbie completed her PhD under the supervision of Anna Slater with Becky as a co-supervisor in 2023, which focussed on high-throughput flow screening of metal sequestration agents.
AITING KAI
Aiting completed her PhD under the supervision of Andy Cooper and Becky in 2023, which focused on developing porous ionic liquids and studying their gas uptake capability.
MIKE BRAND
Mike completed his PhD under the supervision of Andy Cooper and Becky in 2022, which focused on developing glass phases of organic cages, and photoresponsive organic cages and porous liquids.
ANDy MARSH
Andy completed his PhD under the supervision of Andy Cooper and Becky in 2022, which focused on the investigation of alternative dynamic covalent chemistries and self-sorting strategies for the formation of new organic materials.

Peter completed his research project with the group as part of his MRes degree in Catalysis at Imperial College London in 2022, which focused on the development of an automated workflow for essential cross-coupling reactions.
FERNANDO VERDU-CANADAS
Fernando completed his MSci project with the group as part of his Chemistry degree at Imperial College London in 2022, which focused on investigating strategies to incorporate organic cages in covalent-organic frameworks.
JUSTIN LOK
Justin completed his MSci project with the group and in collaboration with Luke Delmas as part of his Chemistry degree at Imperial College London in 2022, which focused on the design and synthesis of functionalised organic cages for incorporation into metal-organic and hydrogen-bonded organic frameworks.
SUBHASHREE BALAJI
Subhashree completed her MSci project with the group as part of her Chemistry with Molecular Physics degree at Imperial College London in 2021, which focussed on investigating the guest-host behaviour of type II porous liquids using NMR titrations.
RACHEL KEARSEY
Rach completed her PhD under the supervision of Andy Cooper and Becky in 2020, which focused on accelerating the discovery of new porous liquids using high-throughput automation.
